Hi! I’m KC Lostetter! I was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. After years away, I am so excited to live in the Garden City with my pilot husband and our three daughters. We are excited for all that Big Sky Country has to offer.
I am a film photographer, specializing in families at every life stage. From newborns, to new couples, growing families and more. I sees value in capturing life as it is and cherishing your photos for years to come.

Booking your photography session is super easy. To get started you can either visit my booking site to see pricing and availability or you can simply fill out the form in my contact page to tell me a little about what you are hoping to capture. Montana truly is beautiful all year round however there are a few months and seasons that are the most ideal for a photography session. Spring and summer are perfect for photography sessions as well as early fall. Reach out to me and I will help you plan your session location and timing.

Yes, I am a film photographer. On rare occasions I will pull out my digital camera but that is VERY rare. I have been photographing on analogue for 9 years and I don’t intend to change that.
The colors on film and the feeling of the images and the tangabilty of the negatives help me lean into nostalgia and joy in every session.
Not only does it enhance the end product, but the process of shooting with film really helps me lean into my creativity and causes me to be more present with my clients.
Whether you are familiar with film or not, I think you will appreciate the end product as well as the experience.

Knowing the turnaround time for a final gallery is an important thing keep in mind when hiring a photographer to ensure that you will get your photos back in time for things like holiday cards, graduations, and other deadlines. Clients typically get their final gallery 3 weeks after their session date. During slower seasons some clients will receive their images early and if a quicker turnaround time is necessary we can discuss a rush fee.

This absolutely depends on the package that you choose when booking your photography session. If you are choosing to hire me with the session fee only you will only be paying for our time together. Once the gallery is delivered you will have the option to purchase prints and files through the gallery. This gives you the most flexibility to customize your package purchasing ala carte or spread out your spending. Other packages do include some files. Be sure to thoroughly read and understand the pricing guide before booking your session. You are always welcome to ask me questions to help clarify.
A standard gallery usually has about 30-55 images to choose from.

YES! Let’s make sure your beautiful photos don’t live and die on a hard-drive. Photographs are meant to be printed, hung in your home and cherished for years to come. We use the highest quality papers and prints to ensure that the colors are consistent and that they will last for years to come.

I do not do in-person sales and you do not have to book an ordering session with me. Once the online gallery is delivered to you via email you can order prints and images files through your gallery. All prints, canvases, albums etc will be delivered straight to your door.
However, if you are interested in having me walk you through your gallery and helping you decide what to print and how large to print. Or if you want me to mock up a gallery wall for you, I am really happy to do that with you. Just let me know at the time of booking and we will be sure to reserve a time slot for your gallery reveal and ordering session.
