Lanikai Beach Family Session | Monnig Family

I met Matt and Jaclyn when we moved to Oahu in 2012. We would hike together and surf. I even watched their oldest for them when she was a baby. Jaclyn even *almost* convinced me to train for a half iron man with her. Thank goodness that never happened. Since then, we have taken turns moving away and returning to Kailua. I’m thankful we overlapped our time on island one last time. This summer they wanted to squeeze in one more family session before they moved back to the mainland. I was so honored that they asked me to photograph their family at their favorite beach spot in Lanikai for a morning session ending in the water. Check out this perfectly imperfect family session.
